President // Nick Risher
Having grown up in and around the film industry, Nick Risher has developed a network of contacts throughout the international film world, which he has repeatedly brought together to create innovative and progressive business endeavors. After graduating from Bard College, Nick worked in content acquisitions, first for Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak’s digital streaming startup En2Go and later for Arsenal Films, a German distribution company. Attending film markets such as TIFF, AFM, EFM, and Cannes, Nick insightfully bought the rights for German-speaking-Europe to future Oscar-winner Man on Wire and box-office-hit It Might Get Loud, as well as more recently the Oscar-nominated Polish film Ida. In 2013 Nick also produced an independent feature, The Demented, for Anchor Bay Films, Starz and Voltage Pictures. His background in foreign sales markets, film subsidies, and international digital-tech distribution enable him to coordinate packaging and financing at all stages of film development, production, and distribution.
